Realisation of hydraulic water level control:
The aim was to regulate the water level of two synchronous vanes both by remote and local control. This was realised with a Siemens SPS, and an angle of attack probe in combination with proportional valve technique. It is thus possible to move the vanes synchronously to an exactly defined opening angle. Local control is via toucscreen: Oil level and temperature, oil contamination, aggregate working pressure and vane opening angle can be simultaneously supervised. As biologically degradable hydraulic oil was incorporated into the design and construction of the aggregate deterimental warming of the medium via nozzles or heating is avoided.
